Full Description

This course will teach you the skills you will need to complete a Lean Six Sigma Project. Our premise is to provide the training concurrently while you work on your Lean Six Sigma Project. The format follows a train and do philosophy.You will learn the deliverables, be provided with the templates to get them done, and have Master Black Belt support via e-mail for review and coaching. The course is presented by phase within the DMAIC Improvement Process.

Support materials for each DMAIC Phase are available as a download in zip format.. We provide files ready to use in the in either MS Office or OpenOffice.org productivity suites. If you do not have MS Office, follow our partner links to OpenOffice.Org to download the free suite of productivity tools.

Statistical exercises will require Minitab Statistical Software which is available on our partner page as a free 30 day trial, with the option to purchase. We do provide many statistical analysis tools in spreadsheet format as well. Video demonstrations of software, exercises, and white board "chalk talks" are an integral part of this comprehensive online course. The course includes interactive exercises, quizzes, and there are exams after each DMAIC phase has been completed.

There will be a Course Final Exam, which upon completion you will be given a Course Completion Certificate. This course is worth 52 CEU credit hours. Upon completion of your first Lean Six Sigma Project and submission of your Project Report you will be eligible for Green Belt Certification from the Management Development Institute of Missouri State University.
