Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Training

Project Description

The training is delivered live via Webinar on Demand to teams in multiple locations.  Up to 25 people, or 4 to 6 project teams, can be trained virtually either at their desks or in conference rooms with projectors.  Computers with a high speed internet connection are required.

Software Requirements

  • MS Office or OpenOffice.org
  • Minitab or JMP Statistical Software

We use YuuGuu for screen sharing which requires only your internet browser.

Problem Statement

The cost of onsite training can be prohibitive.  Getting all parties together in the same location can be difficult.  Multiple projects in multiple locations can be supported simultaneously through Webinar on Demand.

Goals and Objectives

Support Multiple Projects

  • Environmental Sustainability Projects
  • Product Development Design for Six Sigma
  • Process and Product DMAIC Improvements
  • Process Development Design for Six Sigma

Summary of Results

Teams are trained interactively and relevant examples are used to support the projects they are working on.  Breakout sessions are tailored for each project team.  Deliverables are shared virtually for Master Black Belt review.  Upon project completion the teams are eligible for Black Belt certification through Missouri State University's Management Development Institute.
